Northern Railway RRC Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for apprentice recruitment that candidates must fulfil to be considered for the Apprentice positions. The eligibility criteria include educational qualifications and age limits, as detailed below.

Age Limit: (as on closing date of Online Application i.e 16.09.2024)

The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 16.09.2024. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates.

Essential Qualifiction:- (As on date of issue of notification i.e.13.08.2024)

The candidate must have passed SSC/Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and must have passed ITI in relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT recognized by Government of India.

Application Fees

The application fee for RRC NR Apprentice Recruitment 2024 can be paid online. The category-wise fees are as follows:

• UR/OBC/EWS: Rs. 100/-
• SC/ST/PH/Female: No fee

Mode of Selection : The procedure for engagement of candidate will be as under:- Screening & Scrutiny of the application. There will be no written test of viva. Selection of Act Apprentices is to be made on the basis of merit prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidate in both Matriculation/SSC/10th (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) & ITI examination giving equal weight age to both.
